Kru Kate's Philosophy 

I believe children are unique, individual, capable, competent and vulnerable. Children need adult attachment and close bonds with human beings, who have understanding of developmental milestones, in order to provide assistance, scaffolding support and guidance.  

Children require appropriate set limits in a supervised, co-operative, caring, secure, safe environment. Children need appropriate variety activities and free play to explore, experience, satisfy curiosity, independence socially extend all areas of development.

Children need play so they can learn through trial and error with enjoyment.  We work co-operatively with family and staff in order to understand individual needs and address these needs of the child, but also to keep channels of communication open.
